What is Cosmic Cash?
Cosmic Cash is a premium in-game currency in Sell Lemons. Despite being 'premium,' it cannot be purchased with Robux — it can only be earned through gameplay. Cosmic Cash starts appearing around Ascend 50 and is used for some of the most important permanent unlocks in the game, including the Sewer Key, UFO Key, Cosmic Farmer Badge, and endgame progression items.
How to Earn Cosmic Cash
There are several sources of Cosmic Cash:
Each Ascend past 50 generates Cosmic Cash. Higher Ascend counts = more Cosmic Cash per cycle. By Ascend 100, Cosmic Cash flows steadily.
Alien and Investor NPCs occasionally offer Cosmic Cash as part of their phone deals. Always accept these offers — they're rare.
Higher Evolution levels improve your Cosmic Cash earning rate from all sources.
The Sewer Area (unlocked with Sewer Key) contains a Cosmic Cash Vine that can be harvested every 4 hours for bonus Cosmic Cash. This is a reliable recurring source once unlocked.
What to Spend Cosmic Cash On
Smart spending is critical — Cosmic Cash is rare and precious:
Sewer Key (High Priority)
Unlocks the hidden Sewer Area with exclusive rewards and challenges.
UFO Key (High Priority)
Unlocks the UFO Area. Requires the Good Samaritan Badge.
Cosmic Farmer Badge
A milestone badge that proves your Cosmic Cash mastery. Required for certain unlocks.
Endgame Progression Items
Various endgame items and upgrades that require Cosmic Cash.
What NOT to Spend Cosmic Cash On
⚠️ Warning
Never spend Cosmic Cash on temporary income boosts, speed boosts, or any temporary multiplier. These may seem tempting when you're stuck, but the permanent unlocks (Sewer Key, UFO Key, Purity Fruit progression) are infinitely more valuable. Every experienced player's #1 regret is wasting Cosmic Cash on boosts early in their playthrough.
Cosmic Cash Strategy
Start saving from Ascend 50. Don't touch it until you have enough for Sewer Key.
Sewer Key > UFO Key > Endgame items. Follow this priority order.
Temporary boosts are a trap. Permanent unlocks are always better.
Keep track of your Cosmic Cash balance and set target amounts for each unlock.
