đĄ đ¸ RECURRING LIVE EVENT (v1.2.0+) â Prescheduled windows that come and go, not a permanent mode
What Is an Alien Invasion?
Alien Invasions are a new event system added in v1.2.0 "Stargate Approaches". Unlike the Orchard (a permanent area), Alien Invasions are prescheduled recurring live events â they fire on a set cadence, run a 20-minute window in the current v1.3.0 format, then end until the next one. During an active invasion the map gets temporary cash-generation boosts and fruit drops, and two unique cosmetic companions (UFO and Glorp Cat) spawn on the ground for players to pick up. The exact boosts, fruit, and rewards vary from event to event.
How an Invasion Works
A v1.3.0 invasion runs as one continuous 20-minute flow: catch falling fruits to charge the Alien Boost Meter (a 4Ã base that climbs to 250Ã, 2,000Ã, 13,000Ã, and 50,000Ã as it fills), scramble to Starfall impact sites for cash, investors, tokens, and fruit, collect your guaranteed companions during the second fruit-drop window, farm sky rifts for higher-evolution fruits, and ride out the UFO laser finale. The boost type and spawn rate can still vary from event to event.
Invasion Phases â The 5-Phase, 20-Minute Format (v1.3.0)
The v1.3.0 overhaul rebuilt invasions into a tight 20-minute, five-phase format. Two phases are brand new â Starfall (minute 3â6) drops cash, investors, tokens, and fruit at star impact sites, and Rifts (minute 9â14) only drop higher-evolution fruits. A new Alien Boost Meter scales your event boost from a 4Ã base up to 50,000Ã as you catch fruit, and the event closes with a UFO laser finale.
| Phase | Window | Boost / Meter | Key Drops | Companions | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fruit Drops + Boost Meter | 0â3 min | 4Ã â 250Ã â 2,000Ã â 13,000Ã â 50,000Ã | Fruits (charge the meter) | â | Catch falling fruits to charge the Alien Boost Meter: 4Ã base, 250Ã at one-quarter, 2,000Ã at one-half, 13,000Ã at three-quarters, and a full meter locks in 50,000Ã. |
| Starfall (new in v1.3.0) | 3â6 min | Per your meter | Cash / Investors / Tokens / Fruits | â | Falling stars telegraph their landing spot with a red indicator â get there before impact to collect the drops. |
| Fruit Drops (Round Two) | 6â9 min | Per your meter | Fruits (more meter fuel) | 9 UFOs + 1 Glorp Cat guaranteed | Fruits keep falling â and every player is guaranteed 9 UFO and 1 Glorp Cat spawns in this window. |
| Rifts (new in v1.3.0) | 9â14 min | Per your meter | Higher-evolution fruits only + Cash Bags + Investors | â | Rifts tear open in the sky and only drop higher-evolution fruits plus cash bags and investors â the best rare-fruit window of the event. |
| UFO Laser Finale | 17â20 min | Per your meter | Investors / Tokens / Fruits | UFO + Glorp Cat | UFOs spawn overhead and sweep laser beams that drop rewards and both companions; anyone still missing a UFO companion gets one at the end, and every participant earns The Visitors badge. |
The Old 30-Minute Format (July 25 Only)
The very first invasion on July 25, 2026 ran the original v1.2.0 format: a 30-minute, six-phase hype curve â Base Event (6Ã base, fruit drops capped at Pomelo), First Hype (70Ã base, ~700Ã with fruit), Second Hype (375Ã base, where Abyssalime / Nullfruit / Voidlemon / Purity started dropping), Peak Hype (50,000Ã base, ~22,000,000Ã with fruit â the biggest numbers in the game, in a window of roughly one minute), Final (420Ã base with +3 guaranteed UFOs), and Last Minute (45% Glorp Cat rate, the highest of the event). This format only applied to the first invasion on July 25, 2026. It was revamped in v1.3.0.
Fruit Drop Rules by Phase
In the v1.3.0 format, rare-fruit farming revolves around the Rifts phase (minute 9â14): rifts only drop higher-evolution fruits, plus cash bags and investors. The exact evolution tier where rift drops start has not been documented by the community yet, so treat any fruit above your current chain as possible. Outside the rift window, fruit comes from the two drop phases (minute 0â3 and 6â9) and from Starfall impact sites.
Recorded Invasions
The first Alien Invasion event ran on July 25, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM PST and lasting about 30 minutes. This was the debut run of the v1.2.0 event system â the same day the games endpoint's updated timestamp advanced, confirming an event-system deployment rather than a new game version (v1.2.0 "Stargate Approaches" remains the live version). The second invasion â 'Round 2' â ran on August 22, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM EST, marking the v1.3.0 overhaul launch: the attendance badge The Visitors (25th badge) was earned by 44,712 players within 24 hours (44,718 awarded so far). No further invasion windows have been announced yet; invasions remain prescheduled recurring events â watch the in-game announcement signals.
Companion Spawn Guide
During an invasion, watch the sky for glowing beacons â they mark where companions will spawn. In the v1.3.0 format, every player is guaranteed 9 UFO spawns and 1 Glorp Cat spawn during the second fruit-drop window (minute 6â9), and the UFO laser finale (minute 17â20) drops both companions again from its beams. UFOs are common and easy to grab; the Glorp Cat is the rare one, so prioritize it the moment you see a beacon. Both are picked up off the ground exactly like cash bags.
Joe the Alien
During an invasion, Joe the Alien appears and talks to players â he shares event info (what boosts and pets are active this round) and drops lore about himself and the invasions. Joe is distinct from Bob the Alien (the Orchard event shop NPC). Talk to Joe each event to learn exactly what's live that round.
Invasion Strategy
Treat invasions as high-value windows: log in when one is live, grab every UFO and especially every Glorp Cat off the ground, and stack the temporary cash boosts with your Ascend multipliers and Powers (Expert Picker speeds up pickup value). The two event companions are by far the easiest in the game to unlock, so never miss a beacon.
âšī¸ đ Recurring, Not Permanent
Alien Invasions are recurring live events â they start and end on a schedule, they are not always active. Watch for the next invasion window and jump in while it's live to grab the boosts and the two event-exclusive companions.
â ī¸ đ¸ v1.3.0 Is LIVE: Invasions Got the Complete Overhaul
v1.3.0 "Alien Invasion 2.0" shipped on Aug 22, 2026 â the Alien Invasions system got its complete overhaul (improved optimizations + all-new VFX), and Round 2 actually ran on launch day: The Visitors attendance badge was earned by 44,712 players within 24 hours. The overhaul rebuilt invasions into a 20-minute format with two new phases â Starfall and Rifts â plus an Alien Boost Meter that scales from 4Ã up to 50,000Ã. The Stargate and World 2 teasers are now officially dated as standalone versions â v1.4.0 "Stargate Opens" (Sep 4, 2026) and v1.5.0 "World 2" (Sep 18, 2026). v1.4.0 went live Sep 5, 2026. The phase table above reflects the community-documented v1.3.0 system; the old 30-minute format is preserved in the historical section above.
