What Are Companions?

Companions are a cosmetic collection system added in v1.2.0 "Stargate Approaches". Once unlocked, a companion pet follows your character around the map as a visual trophy — they grant no economic, combat, or gameplay advantage, so they are pure flex goals for completionists. There are exactly 6 companions, spread across three sources: 3 from the main tycoon progression, 1 from the Orchard event, and 2 from Alien Invasions live events.

Each companion is tied to a specific unlock goal. Here's every confirmed companion, its rarity, where it comes from, and how to get it:

🌳 Mysterious Tree

Rarity: Special (Orchard)

Grow a 10-star Orchard tree. Push a tree to maximum mutation value using Ascendant Fertilizer plus the Lucky Clovers plot upgrade, then harvest to unlock this companion.

🌀 Void Mass

Source: Main Tycoon

Rarity: Progression (Main Tycoon)

Unlock through the Evolution system — Evolve your fruit (at least one evolution stage). Void Mass represents your first step into the permanent Lemon → Purity fruit chain.

✨ Fruit Aura

Source: Main Tycoon

Rarity: Ultimate (Main Tycoon)

Achieve 100% game completion — earn all 24 badges. An endgame collection goal; only players who have completed every achievement (including the ultra-rare Purity, ~0.0062% of all players) unlock the Fruit Aura.

😇 Angel

Rarity: Ultimate (Main Tycoon)

Perform 777 Ascensions. A massive long-term prestige grind — Angel is one of the two ultimate companions reserved for the most dedicated players.

🛸 UFO

Rarity: Common (Alien Invasion)

Pick up off the ground during an Alien Invasion live event — UFOs spawn like cash bags. Watch the sky beacons to find spawn locations. The common of the two event companions.

🐱 Glorp Cat

Source: Alien Invasion

Rarity: Rare (Alien Invasion)

The rare companion from Alien Invasion events. Spawns alongside UFOs during the event but at much lower rates — on average roughly 1 Glorp Cat per player per event versus about 6 UFOs.

Where Companions Come From

The 6 companions are split across three game systems:

Main Tycoon (3)

Void Mass (Evolve), Fruit Aura (all 24 badges), and Angel (777 Ascensions) — earned through core permanent progression.

Orchard Event (1)

Mysterious Tree — grow a 10-star tree during the v1.1.0 Orchard limited-time event (ends Jul 27).

Alien Invasions (2)

UFO (common) and Glorp Cat (rare) — picked up off the ground during v1.2.0 Alien Invasion recurring live events.

Collection Strategy

The two Alien Invasion companions are by far the most accessible — just join an event when one is live and scoop them off the ground. Mysterious Tree needs Orchard progression (Ascendant Fertilizer + Lucky Clovers). Void Mass comes naturally as you Evolve. Fruit Aura and Angel are ultimate long-term goals: Fruit Aura requires all 24 badges (including the ~0.0062%-rare Purity), and Angel needs 777 Ascensions — plan these over weeks or months, not single sessions.

Companions are 100% cosmetic — they follow you and look cool, but give zero income, combat, or gameplay advantage. Chase them as collection trophies, not as power upgrades. Two (Fruit Aura and Angel) are ultimate completionist goals.
